The Black Salmon Shop, Cherngtalay specializes in smoked fish products including Smoked Salmon from Scotland, Tasmania and Norway and Smoked Tuna and Swordfish from the Andaman Sea. Black Salmon acts mainly as a wholesaler to local hotels and restaurants but the general public are welcome to come and visit and purchase their smoked products. They no longer operate a restaurant and the terrace is closed. The shop is basic as it aimed for the wholesale market, but the general public are welcome to come in and purchase their smoked products. Black Salmon is situated opposite the Boat Avenue Plaza in Cherngtalay, just a few metres from the traffic lights, at the entrance of the Laguna Phuket Complex, on Bandon-Cherngtalay Road.
