Chomchan is a classy sister restaurant of another well known restaurant among the locals, One Chun, serving a sensational Phuket & Thai cuisine you cannot find anywhere else. The owner is a niece of Auntie Kulab of the legendary Raya Restaurant. It means there are many wonderful dishes that have been handed down. However, our top three dished ranked from great to awesome are Fried Grilled Pork Belly with Salt served with Chili Sauce, Thai paste with Crispy Pork Cracking served with Boiled Egg and Fresh Vegetables, and Phuket Style Papaya Salad with Shrimp Paste. For sweet tooth person, we recommend an “O-eo”, Phuket’s favourite shaved ice dessert made of banana jelly, red bean, watermelon and grenadine syrup. It’s to die for. The restaurant set in the Thai colonial style house with traditional furnishing and decoration, making the dining area feel like home, welcome and comfortable. The well-designed garden outside is really refreshing and delightful. Such a pretty entrance! Chomchan is located on Yaowarat Road, near Vachira Hospital. It is about 10 minutes drive from the Old Phuket Town.
