Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation is one of my absolute favorite charities to have had the pleasure of working with. They support a free English Language Programme for local Thai students in Kamala, many of which live at school due to varying financial or familial circumstances. It’s an amazing experience to meet and work with the students that are in this programme, because you can see how much joy it brings them to have fun while progressing in their English Language learning. Donations to the foundation support the teaching staff, and can sponsor students by providing much needed items for the classroom and extracurricular activities and events. Students also get to enjoy holiday parties, swim lessons and birthday celebrations, which are probably the most fun to take part in. Overall, Phuket Has Been Good To Us does amazing work for the local children in Kamala that need extra support, and being able to see it first hand is something I will never forget.
