The Phuket Riding Club offers jungle horse trekking trips and horse rides along a tropical sandy beach. They have horses and ponies that are suitable for beginner to experienced riders both for children or adults. They have a dressage ring that is used for beginners or for intermediate riders requiring more instruction from experienced instructors. Riding attire and equipment are available but it is recommended that you bring your own flat shoes ( not flip flops or high heels), wear jeans or long trousers and a top to give protection from the sun. On the subject of the sun don't forget also to bring sunglasses and sunscreen cream. Riding hats are provided to all riders. Horse riding lovers can find this riding club at Mai Khao beach area, around 10 minutes drive north of Phuket International Airport. Around 1 km before Tha Chat Chai Check Point, take the left turn on to Maliwan Uthit Street and the club is located about 1 km away from the main highway (Thepkasattri Road).
