Surf House Kata Beach is the place for surfing, hip music, beach views and food and drink. It is set on Pakbang Road or Kata Rd (highway 4233), facing towards Kata Beach. It has a FlowRider surf machine, that provides two fast, very shallow water flows, which can be used for surfing and or wake boarding. For extra safety the slides and pools have soft bases, as they are made out of padded vinyl. For novices staff will provide training and advice. plus use guiding safety ropes. Also on site is a bamboo, come surfing decor, style cafe. plus there is a bigger, good sunset and beach view roof restaurant that serves mainly Thai but also some Western items such as burgers and steaks. Surf House Kata Beach is open until midnight and plays cool hip music at night. Their knowledgeable events coordinator can help and advise on arranging special events or parties.
